The Merlin Blake Stretch Jeans use denim with a bit of stretch, so throwing a leg over a bike is no problem. Dupont™ Kevlar® reinforcement, where it counts, improves the abrasion resistance. Adjustable CE-rated armor at the knees soaks up any impacts with the option of adding in hip armor (sold separately).
